Robbie & Chelsa's Landslide Fund

Unsafe to Enter
The Worthington's home has been severely damaged by heavy rains and landslides.  It is literally being torn apart as they watch.  The family was given the order to evacuate and within hours their house was red-tagged as unsafe to enter.

Your Help
Home owner's insurance will not cover any landslide damages or relocation costs.  The family is facing many unexpected expences due to this emergency.  Donations will help cover: moving trucks and equiptment, storage unit, and living expences. (They will also need to pay first  last month's rent, along with a pet deposit.)

The Family
Robert Worthington (affectionately known as Robbie) grew up in La Honda and was thrilled to propose to his girlfriend of 6 1/2 years, Chelsa Dessy, on Christmas Day.  Robbie was self employed and has lost both his work and office space. He's well known throughout our community for his easy laugh and willingness to always help a neighbor in need. Chelsa is a newer hair stylist still working to build her clientele at a salon in Palo Alto and is active with the Ronald McDonald House and other charities. They are staying in a friend's spare bedroom while searching for a new home for themselves and their two small dogs, Ollie and Livi.
