Worlds Fastest Motorcycle Quest
Valerie Thompson - Worlds Fastest Motorcycle Quest in Australia
Valerie Thompson stunned the racing world in 2016 with a speed of 304.263 mph (489.663 km/h) piloting the Team “BUB 7” Streamliner to become the first female rider over 300 mph and the Fastest Woman in a Motorcycle. With the goal of writing a new chapter in motorsports history, Thompson is on a mission to become the first racer to break the current motorcycle land speed record of 376.36 mph (605.69 km/h). Her quest for the new record now takes Valerie to Lake Gardiner Australia, March 12th – 19th, for the 28th Annual Speed Week & World Speed Trials competition. Help us break gender & speed barriers!
We need $75,000 to get the world’s best racing team to Australia
I want to ensure everyone knows how much this team means to me and minimize their out-of-pocket expenses to make this trip,” said Thompson. We need $75,000 to cover all travel related costs for team members, including airline tickets, ground transportation, fuel, food and hotel expenses.
