Isaiah Cooper
on behalf of Tomorrow's Aeronautical Museum TAM
COMPTON, CA
My name is Isaiah Cooper, I'm a 16 year old highschool student determined to break the Guiness World Record for being the youngest person to fly solo around the Earth. I began attending an aviation youth program in Compton at Tomorrow's Aeronautical Museum (TAM) when I was 5 years old. But as I got older, I began hanging with the wrong crowd, doing seriously self destructive things. Realizing that this was not how I wanted to live my life, I returned to TAM. My main goal is to become a productive young man with a future in aviation, and not a statistic. On Monday, July 18th I became the youngest African American to pilot an airplane around the continental United States. I flew from Compton to Maine, to Washington, to Florida and back to Compton, California. This epic journey gave me the experience necessary to achieve my ultimate goal to be the youngest person to fly solo around the world at age 18. Join me for a welcome home party on August 13th from 6:00pm to 9:00pm at Tomorrow's Aeronautical Museum's Legacy Gala. For info and tickets call TAM at 310-618-1155.
Funds will handled by Tomorrow's Aeronautical Museum and directed towards paying for hotels, gas, aircraft fees, and flight instruction.
Thank you in advance for your contributions
