World Baseball Project - Phase III
Year 2 - Onward & Upward

Hi everyone!

It's been exactly one year since we first asked for your help with getting World Baseball Project off the ground. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to continue working toward our Mission and get closer to the ever-elusive "next step". All it took was USD 2,500 to keep things moving along for a whole year!

We were able to stretch those dollars quite far, and even more importantly, were able to accomplish quite a lot in doing so. Some of the major milestones of the past year include the registration and creation of,  sponsoring a baseball student to travel from Ethiopia to Kenya , being featured on Ethiopian national radio, partially sponsoring nutritious snacks for the Baseball 4 Africa tournament, and renewing our relationship with the Bekoji Sports' Office, in Ethiopia

In the year ahead, we are working to secure a scholarship for Rohobot so he can attend university and continue to teach and coach baseball in Bekoji. Along with that, will also be advising on the short- and long-term plans of the Bekoji Baseball Club and the Ethiopia Baseball Project. We hope to return again to Kenya to assist with administering the 2019 Baseball 4 Africa tournament (and hope to have a few more people along this time ). Talks are also ongoing about a possible feature film, set in one of our baseball communities, along with great potential partner organization dialogue.

Over the next year, we also aim to secure viable sponsorship funding, so that our work can continue without worry and individual donations can be used for non-operational, on-the-ground costs. Of course, we could use your help. If you know anyone - individual or company - interested in putting their name and might behind a good cause, we'd love to hear from them .

Finally, on behalf of all connected to, involved in, and impacted by World Baseball Project, I offer a major bundle of gratitude to those of you who have helped keep this crazy dream alive, through both monetary gifts and direct moral support.

Please consider making a contribution to help us get through year 2.  If you prefer PayPal, you can learn more about making a contribution that way, as well as inquire regarding volunteer opportunities, through our site.
