World Cup Funding

I am honoured to have recently been selected to play for the Womens 35 Touch Rugby Team representing England at the Touch World Cup in Malaysia in April 2019.

Touch rugby is still an emerging and therefore pay to play sport, which means players are requested to either self fund or find sponsorships/funding in order to get to the World Cup.

Currently I play for local Redditch Queenfishers (female touch team, see photo) and The Revolution (mixed touch team) - both of which have been wonderful at supporting me to gain this lifetime achievement and get to this level of the sport.  I cannot pass this opportunity by so I'm kindly asking for any help possible.

The cost of travel, playing kit, training, flights, hotel, tournament fees and so on will amount to approx. £3500 so I am looking to raise in the region of £2500.

I appreciate anything folks can donate but if there are any companies that have the means to sponsor me this would be amazing.  Company sponsors would get in return:

- My eternal thanks :-)

- The company logo on my head shot within the team rundown;

- Company mention and URL next to my name in the squad lists in the Malaysia 2019 section of the website;

- Company logo on my individual away kit, if the sponsorship is received no later than the end of February; the ETA gain enough sponsorship to make the away kit free for players and also the sponsorship is more than £500.

If there is anyone out there who is interested in sponsoring the W35 squad then these are the sorts of deals the ETA are offering:

- Logo on the team rundown video

- Mentions on all social media and website stories related to that team

- Website link and logo in the Malaysia 2019 section of the website

- Logo on the back of the relevant team’s shirts

- It is also possible to add some bespoke options on top of this.  Ballpark figures we’re looking for are ~£5,000 for a team sponsorship.
