ABOUT ME:

Hi, my name is Erica, I'm an Italian writer since 2018 and I published two books so far. You can see them on my webiste www.ericabassani.com.

I've been practising in the Theravada Buddhist Tradition since I'm 20 years old, and lived one year in a Buddhist monastery to learn the basics of meditation. Since my first vipassana retreat, the inner journey has been my top priority.

Combining these two great drives of mine, last year I started focusing entirely on female spiritual masters of different traditions, interviewing and writing about them. I wrote a book with eight interviews and realised the journey just started. (See the gallery of pictures below)

ABOUT THE PROJECT:

I want to dedicate my life to make this space of sharing available for female masters to express the depths of human experience, the fragrance of taking care of life, the power of love. I want these voices to be honoured, as historically women have never been encourage to express their point of view, nor their wisdom, which is indeed extremely beneficial to the world.

Think about it: how many female spiritual leaders you know? And who is the wisest woman you met in your life? (Probably your grandma). The world is full of women of wisdom. These powerful ladies deserve and need a dedicated space from which their lights can shine, together, as a beautiful mosaic.

My job is to do research, contact the spiritual inspiring women, travelling towards them, interview them and doing postproduction so that I can share with you their voices - via books, video and podcasts. I hope that they can help you and inspire you as they did to me.

This journey is not for everybody.

It is an adventurous journey in the inner world of women connected to the Divine. It can be really challenging at times! One has to be ready to open the mind and the heart. One has to be ready to discover how many illusions we hold on to.

HOW TO JOIN:

Until now I've been doing it on my own, but it's a collective journey and it's also a movement of awareness. I invite all the coragious hearts to gather forces and love, to sustain this Beauty.

WHY 10.000 EUROS:

1000: honorary for the women I interview. This will permit me to give a small donation to each one of them.

1000: costs for social media support, video editing, book edition, technical support

2000: technical equipment (iphone, video and audio recording tools)

3000: accomodation (10 euros per day)

Cari amici, mi chiamo Erica, sono una scrittrice italiana e ho pubblicato finora due libri, che puoi vedere sul mio sito www.ericabassani.com

Pratico nella tradizione del Buddhismo Theravada da quando ho 21 anni e ho vissuto un anno in un monastero per imparare le basi della meditazione. Dal mio primo ritiro di vipassana, il viaggio interiore è stato la mia priorità assoluta.

Combinando queste mie due grandi passioni, l'anno scorso ho iniziato a concentrarmi interamente sulle maestre spirituali donne di diverse tradizioni, intervistandole e scrivendo di loro. Ho raccolto le loro voci in un libro di otto interviste e ho capito di trovarmi solo all'inizio di un lungo viaggio.

IL PROGETTO:

Voglio dedicare la mia vita a rendere disponibile questo spazio alle maestre che esprimono la profondità dell'esperienza umana, il profumo del prendersi cura della vita e il potere dell'amore.

Voglio che queste voci siano onorate, perché storicamente le donne non sono mai state incoraggiate a esprimere il loro punto di vista, né la loro saggezza, che pure è estremamente benefica per il mondo.

Pensateci: quante leader spirituali conoscete? E chi è la donna più saggia che avete incontrato nella vostra vita? (Probabilmente vostra nonna). Il mondo è pieno di donne di saggezza. Queste donne potenti meritano e hanno bisogno di uno spazio dedicato da cui le loro luci possano risplendere, insieme, come un bellissimo mosaico che punta oltre.

Il mio compito è condividere con voi le loro voci - attraverso libri, video e podcast - in modo che possano aiutarvi e ispirarvi come hanno fatto con me.

Questo viaggio non è per tutti.

È un viaggio avventuroso nel mondo interiore delle donne connesse al Divino. A volte può essere davvero impegnativo! Bisogna essere pronti ad aprire la mente e il cuore. Bisogna essere pronti a scoprire a quante illusioni ci aggrappiamo.
