Wolfgang's final expenses
Donation protected
Our dear friend Wolfgang has passed. There are no words to describe the depth of our anguish over this untimely loss. He was a friend, a brother-in-arms, a brewer extraordinaire, a loving partner...so many things to so many people. He gave of himself, unselfishly. Everyone who knew him knows this is so.
He has left a hole in our hearts, a space that can't be filled, and we are all going to be looking for him at every Ice Dragon, every Pennsic, every practice...all the places where his invaluable energy, competence and willingness to chip in and "get the job done" are going to be so sorely missed. We'll be missing him at every campfire, every party, every holiday...forever raising a glass to our departed friend.
There's one last task, the last page in Wolfgang's story. He has final expenses. With Katerin's permission, I'm starting this GoFundMe page to allay those costs...the costs he never planned for, the inevitable price of that last goodbye.
Please give if you can. If we each gave a dollar for every time Wolfgang broke camp, or stayed late to clean a site, or ran a kitchen at an event, his final expenses would be paid in full and then some.
Every penny donated will go directly to Katerin, to use as she sees fit. The amount requested here should cover his funeral based on the estimate provided by the funeral home of Katerin's choice.
Peace to you, Wolfgang. You are missed.
