Christmas 2017:
Hi!! I'm Didi and this is Coco and Foxx my dogs!!! I was just an ordinary girl living her life. However, on March 5, 2018, my life changed completely. I was recently engaged and had just begun wedding plans when I was diagnosed with a mass on my brain stem that caused me to lose balance and see double. Currently, I have to wear gauze and an eye patch to see out of one eye. I was actually rear ended in an accident a few weeks prior (not at fault) and everything deteriorated since then. I can no longer drive, work, or even walk without assistance. I also have some paralysis on my left face so I can't smile and I am a person who loves to smile all the time!!!! I went from a completely active person, working out 6 days a week, working full-time, and spending time with friends and family, to being bedridden in the hospital for a week awaiting my brain biopsy this upcoming Friday.

Update right after brain biopsy on March 16, 2018: It went well and I'm recovering and awaiting the results. I may need to do another brain biopsy if it's negative or complete brain surgery to take the mass out.

I have already endured three lumbar punctures (spinal taps) and they are not fun lol. You have to lay still for 2 hours after each tap and I like to wiggle alot haha. I will surely be back in the hospital again. We don't know what that mass is so far and I'm worried. I had to put all of our wedding plans and future on hold due to all these massive, upcoming medical bills. Even with insurance, due to the nature of all these inpatient stays, deductibles, ER visits, co-pays, surgeries, MRIs, CT Scans, physical therapy rehabilitation, medications, and many more procedures, it's still very costly and expensive. I am also not working at the moment. Anything will help, even a prayer, spreading love, sharing this post, etc. and although I'm really scared, I truly believe in miracles and hopefully, I can get back on my feet soon. I don't know what the future holds for now as I am re-learning how to walk, balance, see normally again, etc. I truly believe together we can beat this as love and positive thoughts conquers all!!!! Thank you everyone for your support! I want to cherish every moment and memory that I have of everyone! Don't worry, I'm still the same uber hungry goofball that I am! I want to go home forever to my friends, family, pets, fiancé, and work again instead of being in the hospital non-stop. Don't worry, I am still hanging in there and staying super positive! Being brave is alot easier when I have such an amazing outpour of love and kindness from everyone. I love each and every one of you guys! I'm going to fight this battle and win!!!!!

P.S. I seriously have the coolest MRI tech ever, he played BTS and K-pop for me while I was in the machine haha!

March 17, 2018 update: With my pink sheep "Mareep" given by Heidi Ann (Pokemon kid at heart hehe). Mr. Patches the cat plushie from Eli is keeping me company too!!!!

March 27, 2018 Update:
I received my pathology report for the brain biopsy for the mass. I am officially diagnosed with tumefactive (hence the tumor/mass lesion on my brain) multiple sclerosis, which is the rarest and very aggressive form of MS. This disorder can affect the brain, optic nerve, and spinal cord and causes destruction of the nerve coating. While it sucks that there is no cure for MS and my life span is reduced by years and also, I can relapse at any time, I'm glad it wasn't cancer nor maglinant. It's going to be quite a road to recovery, but I'm up for the challenge! I'm happy to be alive! Thank you so much everyone for sharing my gofundme, donating, praying for me, keeping me in your thoughts, sending me positive thoughts, texting, calling, visiting, and messaging me. I love you all!
