Have you ever wished that you could cast a spell or control the objects around you with the flick of a magic wand? At Wizible, our goal is to help you do just that, as we try to introduce a little bit of magic into everyday life.
What is Wizible?
Wizible was established as a tech startup in St. Louis in November 2016. Even though we have only been a company for 12 months, our passion and the vision for our work began several years ago.
In a world where we are reminded daily that there are so many negatives, we are bringing something positive. Wizible is working to create a fully immersive magical experience by equipping wannabe witches and wizards with their very own magic wand.
What is the Wizible experience?
This experience will begin as wizard laser tag. You will be able to use your wand to duel against friends and family in any setting (your home, backyard, neighborhood, gymnasium, etc.). Each player will have a Wizible vest that registers incoming spells in the confines of the laser tag game. The wand and vest pair together with a smartphone app that sorts players into teams, tracks live in-game action, and keeps scores.
In the future, we plan to roll out new features that will allow you to use your wand to control all sorts of things in your environment, such as TVs, lights, fans, alarm clocks, etc.
These applications are only the beginning of the magic that Wizible has in store. Many other incredible opportunities and applications will be coming in the months and years ahead.
When will this be available?
Wizible is very close to starting the actual wand-making (manufacturing) stage.
We hope to put the finishing touches on our wand and vest molds by January/February 2018. This would allow us to begin production in March/April, with the goal of bringing our magic to the retail market by the second quarter of 2018.
How can I get involved?
Our vision is close to becoming a reality, and we are seeking donations from anyone who wants to be a part of something special.
The funds raised from this GoFundMe campaign will go directly toward the manufacturing process for our initial production run of wands and vests. Funds will also be used for the research and development of some of our additional home automation-type products.
Every dollar donated will be used to help us cover the startup costs for manufacturing. These costs include:
-The molds needed for the wands and vests;
-Final touches on our existing technology to ensure highest possible quality;
-Getting the technology through FCC testing;
-The wand and vest components; and
-Our first production run of retail products.

A big part of our cost is getting the technology through FCC testing. This ensures that the electronics are working perfectly and are approved by the government.
