Hi. I'm Dave from Wittenberg Door Campus Ministry. We're raising support to continue bringing on-site pastoral care to the collegiate communities in Columbia Missouri during 2019.
History, Integrity, Truth, Scripture. These four ideas are at the heart and center of the work of Wittenberg Door Campus Ministry . As a mission project of the American Association of Lutheran Churches , Wittenberg Door Campus Ministry's work is to provide on-site pastoral care to the students, staff, faculty, and administration of the collegiate communities in Columbia, Missouri.
The Christian message is one of great historical importance. For almost 2000 years Christians have proclaimed freedom to prisoners of this sinful world through Jesus.
It is part of the integrity of our message that we admit our own failings and challenges.
We also realize that there is such a thing as objective truth. It's Christianity's willingness to explore truth and evaluate the claims of different world views which has historically pushed scientific, artistic, literary, and philosophical developments.

Yet, Christians recognize that it is in Scripture alone that we find a definitive revelation of God and His Will.
We bring this recognition of history, integrity, truth, and Scripture to the academic communities in Columbia, Missouri through on-site pastoral care, Bible discussion groups, and day-to-day friendships with people like those pictured above, in our international gatherings.
Wittenberg Door Campus Ministry is funded by contributions from our supporters, such as theWittenberg Door 300 , our regular contributors. Last year our partners provided the basic operating expenses of this ministry and helped with staff housing to some extent. During 2019 we wish to include housing and medical care. Notice there's no staff salary there yet? We'll get there eventually. Please help bring on-site pastoral care to our academic communities. Please help us spread the good news of Jesus to the many nations represented in those communities.
