The project this year is called “Windows in the Woods.” I’ve found excellent little cameras that you can program so that they’re off all night and then turn on at a set time, such as dawn. The early-morning hours are a prime time for Sasquatch sightings. This past summer, I spent untold hours going through footage from two of these cameras. It’s important not to fast-forward because that’s the only way you’re going to catch audio evidence and know that they’re close by. This spring, I’m going to add a third camera to the rotation and do a major taping at least twice a week, relocating the units throughout my research area.
As we all know, Sasquatch are extremely careful about being seen, but they’re not perfect. Right in the center of my research area is where a juvenile appeared 87 feet away from me while I was there and filming. Of course, I didn’t realize this till later. How much more likely will it be that one of these folks will make a mistake in front of a small, unassuming camera while I’m not even there?
Here’s where you come in. I cwon't be able to review all this footage, from three cameras, by myself. I need a private squad of dedicated assistants to help me; after all, it was a member of my GoFundMe group in 2014 who first spotted the figure contained in my juvenile Sasquatch footage. So the plan is this: Each week, I will upload all the video/audio files to Dropbox, a site for sharing very large files. You can then download them and look through your own windows in the woods...their woods
For those group members who don’t have time or don't want to review the footage, don’t worry: Just like last year and the year before, I will be sharing weekly private video updates for all contributors. These updates will continue for twenty-four weeks, like clockwork, from April through September; they are for your eyes only, as none of this material will be posted publicly until October 2017.
The many hours of raw footage and the short weekly video updates are not the only gifts you get for contributing to this campaign. For a minimum $20 donation, I will send you a signed copy of my new book, A Field Guide to Sasquatch Structures.
For a $30 donation or above, I will send you this t-shirt in red or blue, medium or large.
