On the evening of August 28th, the Wilson Family saw their house go up in flames. A bathroom fan started the fire, and it spread to the entire house. Luckily, the family is safe. However, the fire led to a total loss of their home, and none of their belongings could be recovered. The fire started around 9:45pm and the fire department didn't leave until approximately 3:00am. The family is staying at Julie Wilson's parents' house while they recover from the tragedy.
John and Julie Wilson live in Batesville, IN and are parents to 5 children: Ben, Jacob, Sarah, Luke, and Maggie. Ben is a senior at DePauw University, and his brother Jacob is a sophomore at Hanover College. Sarah is a senior in high school, Luke is in the eighth grade, and Maggie is in the sixth grade - all in Batesville Community Schools.
With the looming uncertainty of how and when their insurance policy will assist the family, we ask for your help. Tuition payments, new furniture, clothes for the kids, kitchen supplies, etc. will surely lead to significant expenses as they begin the sudden transition into finding a new home.
