On July 10, 2018 the Willison family got word that their son was involved in a tragic car accident with two of his friends. Sadly, one of those friends lost his life because of this. Currently, their son is in the hospital with multiple injuries and has already had surgery to start the healing process. He sustained two broken legs and a fracture to his skull, as well as other smaller injuries.
The Willison family is loved by so many so this is just a small way to give back to them for all they do for others. Those who know them know that family and their kids are everything to them. From supporting Alison (mom) while she went through grad school and working full time to get her teaching degree where she is now a kindergarten teacher at one of the local schools! To Scott (dad) being at home every SINGLE day when he gets home from work so that he can be there for their kids when they get home from school. To their AMAZING handmade Halloween costumes that have everybody on the edge of their seats wondering “what did they come up with this year??” If you ever stop by their house, they constantly have friends coming and going. Alison is probably running around taking someone here or there or spending her entire summer volunteering to run the neighborhood pool! (Seriously, does she ever stop moving??) And if you come by looking for Scott, chances are he is out in the yard having a nerf battle or playing lacrosse with his boys in the backyard or even just playing hide and seek with the kids and their friends. Their kids are their LIFE and their best friends and their every moment is spent making their family one of the best I’ve ever met.
Their journey through the next couple months will not be an easy road but their support system reaches far and wide and I know many have been wondering how exactly they can help. So let’s take a little bit of the burden off of their shoulders for the upcoming weeks and months!! This way their sole focus can be on getting their son better, as well as their other three children and their needs during this time.
The money raised through this fundraiser will be able to be used for medical expenses and anything else their family may need at this time. Sometimes it takes a village so let’s be their village and support this family that means so much to so many!!
