On December 20, 2017 around 10 PM at night Willard Young’s (Age 85) and his family lost their home in a house fire. He and his family had lived in the home for over 30 years of raising their children and others. He was a man that went through a lot this year such as losing his son around April and then later losing his wife of 65 years (Evelyn Young) in October. He had also finished paying off his home at the beginning of 2017 after paying it for over 30 years. He was very excited to finally call his dream home his after all his hard work over the years. Most people knew him as a well known respected community member, loving and caring father as well as a giver and helper to many such as his church, neighbors and anyone else that crossed his path in need. His family was the first black owned tire business since 1967 in Tulsa, Ok. With Christmas only a few days away and with the loss of all his and his families belongings I ask that we all come together to bring this man a blessing be it whatever you can help with be it donating or simply sharing with friends and family. I’ll add more details as they come, thank you so much for taking the time and God bless you all.
