Will Leaverton Miracle Fund

Donation protected
On Sunday March 19th Will was taken to the emergency room with stomach pain and admitted shortly after with acute pancreatitis. Will was in pain but his spirits were high and we had hoped to have him in and out of the hospital quickly.

In the early hours of Tuesday March 21st Will's body became severely infected and he was rushed into emergency surgery to try to combat the infection.

While somewhat successful, the surgery put unbearable strain on Will's body and he was left to fight for his life. Surgeons informed us that Wills status was so dire that if his heart were to stop beating they would not recommend resuscitation. The only thing we could hope for was a miracle.

Friends and family, acquaintances and complete strangers, banded together to send prayers, positive thoughts, karma, and goodwill to help Will stubbornly keep his heart pumping.

A week later Will is still in critical condition but we are witness to a miracle beyond medical explanation. Every day with Will is a blessing and for the first time in a week we are cautiously optimistic about his recovery.

This is going to be a long hard fought battle and we know people have been asking how they can help in this fight. This fund will help pay for medical expenses and others incurred during his recovery. We still do not quite know the extent of the damage or what his recovery will look like but we know that any help people can give to help lessen the financial burden on Will and the family is greatly greatly appreciated.
