Im Jerry Harvey. Happinest Wildlife is the premier wildlife rehabilitation, rescue and education source in Chattanooga and the surrounding area for over 2 years.
I am raising money in hopes of purchasing property for HWRRs new facility.
This network of professional volunteers has saved thousands of Ill, injured and orphaned wildlife across the state.
Until now each representative of HWRR has worked from the homes of the primary licensed rehabilitators.
And now it's time to consolidate our efforts, talents and time into one functional facility.
This property is 3 acres surrounded by agricultural land and large sources of water. And it's central location is accessible within minutes from any part of Chattanooga.
By gaining this property, transport to and from one person to another will be eliminated.
This land will provide a consistent drop off location and staffed facility for the needs of wildlife 24/7.
The result will be more lives saved.
The property has been approved by the TWRA.
The existing building will need many repairs to meet our infirmary needs.
Our goal is to have a public education center and full staff. In turn providing our community with a practical and knowledgeable path to our state's wildlife, habits and needs through rehabilitation and rescue.
The auction for this property is set for February and time is running out.
If for any reason we are outbid we will use the funds raised here to purchase a comparable property as soon as possible.
