After an amazing performance at the State Championship in Athens, Georgia on April 5 - 8, the rookie Dunwoody High School FIRST® Robotics Competition Team, WildCat 5e, accumulated enough points to finish the season ranked 6th in the state. This outstanding performance was enough for the team to qualify for the World Championships in Houston from April 19 to 22, where Wildcat5e will face tough competition from the United States and around the globe.

We are facing one final push to raise approximately $15,000 to fund our trip to this prestigious event. We hope you will consider sponsoring us.

We are humbled by the opportunities that we have been granted as a result of our success. At the beginning of the season, no one believed that we would be looking forward to Houston. Our group of kids and parent volunteers has worked so hard, in conjunction with our fantastic sponsors, friends, family, and generous members of the community who donated to assist us in reaching and surpassing our goals.

We express our sincere gratitude to anyone who has donated in the past, and/or plans to donate in the future. All of you – our family, friends, and sponsors alike – are very important to the success of WildCat 5e and we are humbled that you have seen us as worthy of your support. So once again, thank you.

Our team performed very well at the Gainesville and Dalton qualifiers. As of me writing this post our team is ranked first in the nation and second in the world in ranking points. We went to the playoffs in both events and finished our alliance finished in second and third at Gainesville and Dalton respectively. So I'd like to give a big thank you to all of our donors and sponsors for supporting us. However our chances of going to state are very high and we will need some more money to pay for trip expenses. Every dollar counts so keep donating and thanks again to all who have supported us.
