On the 50th anniversary of the cult classic The Wicker Man, one man has an impossible dream, an obsession:

The initial idea was simple:

Make a film marking the 50th anniversary of the movie at the same locations, having no budget, family members as "crew" and completely in over his head. The culmination of which would be to burn A Wicker Man in the same spot 50 years later!

A small conspiracy was formed by like-minded individuals from a Facebook group that was sprung up.

The dream spilled into reality and reality spun way out of control.....

From a small team of 5, the production grew into a cast of hundreds

The film will also capture the struggles of the film maker, driving over 1000 miles trying to pull off a professional documentary against the odds, while holding down a full time job with zero budget and logging into Go Fund Me once an hour in the hope of finding people who believe he can do it. Needing Mics, media, lights not to mention a new camera........we will see him beg and borrow to get it done.

Anything left after shooting will go towards entry fee in Film Festivals.

Anyone contributing more than €1000 will get their name listed as a producer and all donations will be mentioned in the "special thanks" credits.

Oh and we are also going to Burn a Wicker Man on Burrow Head...50 years later.....This one, which was specially made......Go on Make it happen!!!!!!
