Hey guy's 1st off let me say that I have no interest or anything to gain by putting this campain on. I don't know the victim personally, but I'm the one who found her so I feel the need to try and turn her bad story and experiance into something cool... here's what happened-

Last week I was driving home from costco and I took ascot pkwy because sometimes I like to mimic the Vallejo native Jeff Gordon with my Ricky Bobby "if you aint 1st you're last" driving skills... I have my kids with me so I'm not quite doing donuts and fishtailing but I'm going kinda fast. Something catches my eye as I bend a corner and as I look in my rearview, it looks like a person is sitting on the sidewalk waiving at people. Now, this may seem normal to some, but we're in Vallejo and truth be told, people aren't really friendly here so I say to myself,," hmmm, that's out of place, I bet that person needs help"...  Now some of you might think, why did I think "someone needs help" from seeing someone waiving? And I asked myself the same thing, but unfortunately, that's my Vallejo mentality, and where my mind went.. So I turnes around at redwood, drove down a bit, and turned around again hoping that I was wrong,,, but nope, I was right... There laying on the sidewalk was Diosie Caba, an older Filipino lady in her late 60's. As I pull up, I can see she has a broken hand and wrist, there's blood everywhere and her face is hella swollen.  She had been beaten up and robbed about 10 minutes prior walking home from the social security office trying to take care of a dispute... She didn't have any cash in her purse, just her I.D and S.S card so she was beat up for nothin... I helped her up (because she couldn't get up) grabbed her phone (that fell out of her pocket during the robbery)  put her in my car, and sped off.  She lived about 2 min away and wanted to call an ambulance from home so I took her there, helped her up to her house, got her son inlaw and called 911... I couldn't stay because my kids were freakin out but left feeling horible for this lady. The next day, my wife and I went to bring her flowers but nobody answered the door. The next day I went back again and was able to talk with her husband. She was resting but he told me she would be ok and thanked me for my help. I told him there's nothin to thank me for and was sorry about what happened. When I posted my story on my FB page, again, people were thanking me and calling me a hero. I'm no hero, I just try to live and do whats right, but it had me thinking. What if I could be this ladies hero? What if I can take her bad dream and just give it a better ending??? She called me yesterday on Easter we talked for a bit. I told her I wanted to make a nice card for her so I needed her name.  Bad things happen everyday but I've never been 1st on scene like this, so that's why I'm doing this campain. Diosie doesn't have any idea that I'm doing this for her and not sure if it'll even raise any $$$ but I figured it can't hurt to try. Again, I'm getting nothing out this and don't want anything,,, I just want to help. She was beat up pretty bad and the pic above is her xray with 3 rods in her wrist so this money can help her with her bills and expenses.  Anybody that donates is more than welcome to participate with presenting the check. Imagine if 1000 people dropped $5,,, that would be dope! I got $5 on it!
