During one's life we all encounter struggles and challenges that consume us. During these difficult times, we can only hope that our family and friends can be the support and guidance we sometimes need.  Recently, Whitney has been diagnosed with Signet Ring cell carcinoma, which is a rare form of adenocarcinoma.  With Whitney starting her battle against this rare form of cancer, please assist me with helping a remarkable person and friend during a difficult time.  All donations will help Whitney and Mike cover medical bills and expenses.  Thank you for your time and generosity.

Also, there will be a benefit at The Rusty Nail in New Orleans on May 21st starting at 2PM.  Please come join us and BRING WHITNEY BACK TO THE NAIL!

Mike you can stay home.....

To all who have donated and reached out to Whitney and Mike during this trying time, we want to thank you for the continued support, donations, and prayers. It is with a heavy heart that I say, on July 5, 2017 around 11:30pm Whitney lost her battle against cancer. She fought a good fight and she now knows the peace she deserves. Please continue to donate and pray for Whitney, her family, & friends! Thank you all for loving her! She was quite simply, the best.

Services for Whitney are as follows:
- Visitation from 2:00pm-9:00pm on Sunday and 8:00-9:30 on Monday at Geesey-Ferguson Funeral Home. A rosary will also be recited at 7:00pm. (301 N. Parkerson, Crowley, LA 70526)
- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with a reception to follow in the church hall on Monday at 10:00am. (29031 Crowley-Eunice Hwy, Eunice, LA 70535)

Anyone who knew Whitney well knows that she loved the color PINK! That being said, wearing all black to celebrate her life just doesn't feel quite right. Several of us will be wearing color (any color, not necessarily just pink) for her services and would like to invite you to join us in doing so! Whitney wouldn't want it any other way.

Although I personally did not know Whitney, Mike and I had gone to college at the same time. To the Sellitto family, my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Mike, please know that the love you two had and shared will never end nor be forgotten; stay strong.
