After suffering the loss of her mother, father, failed marriage and experiencing a miscarriage, Brooklyn Nichelle Walker, mother to 8 year old Sky, has finally found love in Chris Shields. In her eyes, Chris rescued her and her daughter. A hard working man, Chris has given Brooklyn a life that one could only imagine but their life abruptly changes when love lies. Chris and Brooklyn are taken on a tumultuous journey. Will they recover? Will they find “The Way”? Or, will they die in the process?

I am a mother of 3, theater actress of 8 years, writer, motivational speaker, social butterfly, and published author. I am inviting you to be a part of my journey.
After years of brainstorming, researching, and contemplating, I have finally decided to bring my writing to the stage! I have been writing this production for 2 years; revising, updating, and putting my heart into every line. This stage play a dramatic thrill ride that is guided by real-life events.
I have been able to save $2500 but the amount needed to produce a full stage play, build a set, pay the cast, purchase necessary merchandise and tools, and provide a breath-taking atmosphere for the audience cost a lot more. By pledging money to this project, you will not only be enabling me to bring this production to the Memphis community but you will also be supporting an exciting new voice striving to bring life, answers, and love from a theater stage. I need your help to make this successful! I plan to curate events and projects that will offer an opportunity to other actors/actresses within the Memphis community. Your monetary gift will also give me the opportunity to pay them for their time and talents. I had turned this play into a book, to encourage dialogue about motherhood, loss, abortion struggles, and redemption, across the country.
