Wheelchair Rugby Invictus Games

My name is Daniel Bingley, after serving sixteen years in the British army I was medically discharged. I served in Nothern Ireland, Bosnia, Iraq and Afghanistan. This year I was lucky enough to be selected for the 2018 Invictus Games being held in Sydney. https://www.forces.net/news/uk-team-sydney-invictus-games-revealed 

After exhausting all options I have not being able to find sponsorship to fund a Rugby wheelchair for me to train in and take with me to Sydney. I currently play for a local team and have been using a wheelchair there which does not fit me correctly and hinders my ability to play.

I want to do team UK proud and bring a gold medal home with my team mates and continue using my chair to keep playing with my local team after the Invictus Games. 

I am disabled and being selected for the Invictus Games has given me a new purpose. Wheelchair Rugby has given me a chance to play sports again and keeps me fit mentally and physically.
