Jesus' Medical Emergency Fund

Donation protected
Hi, my name is Giselle and I'm one of Jesus Chambrot's cousins.

On May 28th, Jesus was hospitalized due to a life threatening medical condition. He has spent the past 10 days in the Intensive Care Unit at Baptist Hospital in Miami, Florida. Fortunately, he was released and is home again. We are very lucky to still have Jesus with us.

Those of you who know my cousin, know how much he loves to make people laugh, his love of drawing cartoons and old school gangster movies.

Jesus suffered from a Bilateral Pulmonary Embolism which means a blood clot that broke off from his leg got wedged into an artery in his lungs. Most likely the blood clot formed in his leg after the long hours spent working at his animation desk.

Jesus thought that at first he was having a case of asthma but realized it was more serious when it felt like he was carrying 800 lbs of weight on each leg each time he took a step. He is now able to move around but has not had any income for the last 2 weeks as he is a freelance animator. Jesus was unable to finish assignments or take on any new projects since he has been in the hospital.

Jesus has limited health insurance and needs help to pay for the 7 months of prescribed medication, medical consultations, lifestyle changes, and monthly  ultrasound appointments  to see if the clot broke down.

I want to say thank you to everyone who has reached out, kept Jesus in their prayers and sent good thoughts.

We know Jesus is capable of recovering from this. Thank you and God Bless.
