'We Used To Love Swimming' Children's Book

Donation protected
Having grown up in Cornwall near the coast, I am passionate about saving our oceans from plastic pollution. Plastic in the ocean is a major problem facing mankind. The negative impact plastic pollution has on marine life should be of concern to everyone across the world.

'We Used To Love Swimming' will work to educate children through a picture book. It will illustrate and discuss how they can personally help to make a difference in combating plastic pollution globally.

The story follows Torin the Turtle and all of his underwater friends as their ocean home gets destroyed by plastic. The intention is to make children aware of the dangers that plastic can cause to the precious sea-life creatures, many of which are now registered as endangered.

This campaign has been set up to help fund the publication of 'We Used To Love Swimming' so that Torin's story can be shared amongst children everywhere as a mission to help reduce plastic pollution in the ocean.

Your kindly donated money will be put towards the editing and designing, the initial printing costs and the marketing campaign used to promote the book in its early stages.

As a Primary School Teacher, children are increasingly aware of plastic pollution and want to have practical ways that they can easily achieve to help solve the problem little-by-little. Therefore, I need your help to release 'We Used To Love Swimming' into the picture book world so that it can be used as an educational and learning tool for all.

Let's work together to end plastic pollution in our oceans.
