West Seattle's Sweetheart and Her Road to Recovery

This is me and my Nana. She turned 71 years old on Monday December 3rd and is by far the most hard working, giving individual I've ever known. Many of you know her by the number of years she worked at West Seattle's Rite Aid. Many others know her as your friendly store clerk at the Juneau St Market. And lots of you have been blessed with a place to lay your head when you were down and out...

On Tuesday December 11th while my Nana was working at the Juneau St Market, a man entered the premesis and brutally beat her. He BEAT her in the head and left several lacerations on the back of her head and SEVERAL more covering her face, arms and hands where she was trying to defend herself. God sent Angels in the form of a delivery man and some other locals who drug her to safety, away from the man and called 911. They all took a role in saving her precious life that day. Thank You ❤
First responders were swift. They quickly apprehended the man and got my Nana to the hospital. The hospital staff have been AMAZING as well!
Gosh, my Nana is a tough lady! She loves God, her family and our community and WE ALL LOVE HER BACK! The community has expressed their interest in helping with the financial hardship and we CAN NOT thank you enough for all your kind words, thoughts and prayers! Anything helps ❤
