West Coast Wonder Women

Sooke Boxing Club is a Non-profit organization thriving on sweat and equality. 


On April 28th 2018, Sooke Boxing Club is hosting the first annual all-female boxing card in Canada, called West Coast Wonder Women! Athletes of all ages and abilities from all over the country and the U.S. will be competing. 


The event is not about beating each other down, it’s about BUILDING each other up. We believe in the power of women! We are fighting for our cause, our place in the ring and our place within the sport. 


Proceeds from West Coast Wonder Women will be utilized in the advancement of boxing programs within the community, contributing to workshops, training camps, and classes offered by the Sooke Boxing Club. It will also secure funding for our partnership with the Women's Active Living Classes within the local high schools. 


We are raising money for Sooke Boxing's featured fighters : Aranza Santana, Janelle Simoneau, Dawn Gibson, Mel Bishop, Kya Burley, Tia Nunn, Jill Doucet and Dee Mai.
