We're all in the fight with Hudson
9 months ago Hudson was just like any typical 9 year old, busy with sports and just being a fun loving kid. Suddenly he wasn't feeling well and was diagnosed with a very rare condition called diabetes incipidus. He would be prescribed medication for the rest of his life. The Fletcher family felt they could deal with this tough blow but then , 2 more months of trips to sick kids in Toronto for MRI'S , blood tests, spinal taps, cat scans, pet scans etc . The doctors found 2 tumors on 2 separate glands in Hudson's brain. A high risk surgery was booked for November to do a biopsy, 3 days before the surgery it was cancelled in order to let the tumors grow a bit so the surgery would be more effective. The next 2 months were full of more tests, MRI'S and spinal taps etc. The delicate surgery was once again booked and canceled again. Hudson will now undergo 12 weeks of chemotherapy and then radiation with 18 days in between which they will go back and forth between Sudbury and Toronto. All the donations will help relieve some financial burden associated with these situations and help the Fletcher family focus on Hudson's treatments over the next little while. Hudson is a very brave kid who is fighting very hard, let's give him a hand.
