Weather Balloon Donations

Westside Middle School Academy is a small technolgy school in Danbury, CT.
We the 8th graders at Westside are planning on launching a weather balloon up to space. The point of the weather balloon is to see different aspects of the Earth from the given height the weather balloon reaches.
When the weather balloon reaches a certain height the curvature of the Earth are going to be seen, the Earth in general will be seen, to see Earth’s atmosphere and the division line where Earth separated itself from space, test the temperature from the given height, see how food reacts in space and so much more.
We the fundraising group is working along with three other diffferent groups, the design squad, the weather group, and the science group. The fundrasing group is in charge of coming up with events and projects that can help raise money for materials that are needed for the weather balloon.
The design squad is making sketches about the payloads that are going up with the weather balloon and they are setting ideas for what is going in the payloads. Furthermore, they are sketching where the logos of sponsers go on the payloads, it is important that they include the logos.
The science group is working with coding to learn how to work with the ardunio that is going up with the weather balloon into space. The ardunio sets different tasks when the weather balloon is up in space.
One group of 8th graders are part of the fundrasinig group and they are doing their very best to raise money for the project, but they need help, your help can make a true difference.
The money that is raised will be mostly for covering the cost of the balloon, the helium to fill the balloon, and for the go pros that are going on the payload that is attached to the weather balloon.
The weather balloon project needs several components to be able to be sent of into space. The weather balloon needs gopros, arduino, and several other cameras. The money that is mostly raised will go to be able to pay for the several materials that are needed for the weather balloon.
Donating money for this project will mean the world to Westide since it will take a load of stress off. Westide will apreciate the donations as the project is really important.
Westside will down to the core be super thankful to all that donate to make our project possible. :>
