Fleur and Julian touched our hearts. They inspired us, and helped us to realize that no dream is too crazy to follow. They embarked on an exciting project: 22 The Project. Getting married in 22, now 24 countries which allows same sex marriage! New York, Amsterdam,
Antwerp, Paris....more would follow. We all looked forward to following these two beautiful souls on their journey. On December 16th our hearts broke after reading Fleur's post on Facebook ( https://goo.gl/pH9zmr ).
Doctors had given Julian 3 months to live. This due to numerous tumors in her head and around her heart. A cancer diagnosis is dreadful. It affects every aspect of your life, brings dreams to a halt, and in a case like this, can take away hope for the future.
I know. I am an ex-cancer patient. For this reason I founded the HungerNdThirst Foundation back in 2016. Funding cancer research is important. But helping those dealing with cancer today...now...is also important. From my personal experience I know that when dealing with cancer you are confronted with an extreme amount of expenses, which are not covered by any health insurance.
