WBD 2018 Scares That Care Campaign

This is our 3rd year raising money for this incredible charity! In the past, you guys have gotten us closer and closer to being able to hand over that $1,000 check, and I feel like THIS could be THE year! Every $100 we raise will have a perk (usually something to embarrass Ian and myself. Who could forget the ICP facepaint from last year!) to make things even MORE fun and interesting. So please, even if it's $5, help us help this beautiful cause.
Scares That Care was founded by Joe Ripple, a retired Baltimore County, Maryland, Police Detective, in 2007 as a tribute to the daughter of a fellow officer who succumbed to a terminal illness.
The charity originally started with the goal of raising $10,000 per year for organizations such as Make-A-Wish and the Kennedy Krieger Institute.
After several successful campaigns, the charity became more formalized in 2011 as an IRS approved 501(c)(3) and a newly established Board of Directors, we refocused to fight the REAL MONSTERS of childhood illness, burns and breast cancer by helping families that are experiencing these extraordinary hardships cope with the financial burden by raising and providing $10,000 per sponsored family.
We are a 100% VOLUNTEER organization in order to maximize our supporters donations to those who need it!
