The Washburn County Area Humane Society suffered a devastating fire at its facility early Thursday morning, March 16, 2017. The surviving animals have been relocated to the Northwoods Humane Society in Hayward, Wisconsin.
Please consider giving to support WCAHS in rebuilding the shelter! Any donation amount will be very much appreciated as WCAHS and the wonderful, generous community work together to restore and rebuild in order to continue to provide the many, vital services to Washburn County residents and their animal companions.
WCAHS has served Washburn County by providing our furry friends with love, care, and basic medical attention to more than 10,000 animals since opening in 2000. WCAHS also reunites lost pets with their loving families and/or provides adoption opportunities to “Forever Homes.”
