Wayne and Koda

Donation protected
Wayne and Koda set off on their epic journey, walking and litter picking around the coast of mainland Britain, on 1st February 2016. Their mission is to raise awareness and help educate young children on the value of Keeping Britain Tidy.

Walking in memory of his father John Dixon, author of several walking guides, Wayne is raising funds for the charity MIND as we have had history of Bipolar, PTSD and depression amongst our family and friends.

His beloved companion Koda also raises funds for the Northern Inuit dog Rescue Society.  At just 9 months old Koda had, had 4 previous owners. On the death of their father, Wayne and his sister Maxine inherited him and now, with support from his charity, he has found his forever home.

Wayne is self funded and travels on a small budget. This provides his, and Koda's basic needs, but doesn't cover the cost of replacing worn out/broken kit and equipment or shelter in extreme circumstances.

He needs as much on-going help and support as possible to complete his quest.  This may take several years as picking up litter, as he walks along, makes for slow progress.

Thank you all so very much for your valuable contribution which will keep Wayne and Koda comfortable on the trail.
