I am raising money for two wonderful charities as of now up until the 7th October, and on the day will have donation boxes along with a fully qualified hairdresser to professionally take hair donations.

The Little Princess Trust is a charity which provides real hair wigs free of charge to children and young adults up to the age of 24 who have sadly lost their own hair through cancer treatment and other medical conditions.

I have been a proud sponsor of The Brain Tumour Charity since December as it has been close to my heart. Over 9,000 people are diagnosed each year with a primary brain tumour, including 500 children and young people – that’s 25 people every day! Their aim is to improve understanding, diagnosis and treatment of brain tumours to improve outcomes for everyone affected.

On Sunday the 7th October 2018, I will have a fully qualified hairdresser cutting the donated hair (including 7 inches of my own) at my shop in Wickford, Essex. There will also be local businesses providing nail painting, sweets & cupcakes..!

Any money raised will be split 50/50 between the both charities.

If you do wish to make a donation of hair, the charity ask the following:
> Minimum donation length - 17cm / 7 inches of good condition hair
> Hair must be clean/dry (shampoo without conditioner / no styling products)
> Hair to be tied into a number plaits/ponytails, secured at both ends

Please feel free to contact me before the day if you have any questions.

Many thanks & all donations are very much appreciated x
