We are 3 friends who started Homeless Warriors, we are passionate about what we do making a difference not only for the homeless on the streets but also those in the shelters and the vulnerably housed and in poverty.
Why did we start? Well nearly 3 years ago I was close to dying from a cardiac arrest and then was diagnosed with Epilepsy. Because I had to leave my job we found ourselves in trouble when our landlord wanted his property back. We could not find a landlord to take us on and my wife and my 4 kids were made homeless and now in temporary accommodation. It was stressful and nearly ended our marriage, yet we got through and I needed to do something for those with no roof and living in poverty.
None of us are far from being in same situation, we are gaining so much momentum and making such a difference and bringing awareness to Watford Homeless Warriors could lead a charge in the fight against homelessness and poverty.
This is how we reach the guys on the streets, the bike and trailer enables us to find and get to where the rough sleepers are rather than them finding us.
As we are Community Interest Company Registered we can apply for funds and donations from local authorities and business's, we feel that business could be a huge asset to helping their local area's.

are amazing and donate to us, yet we need a stock of certain items and desperate to help those projects working along side us. Fundraising will enable us to buy the essentials but also be in a position to support those that want our help, money for a shelter to start them off, a food or home starter kit even just coffee's whilst on out reach. We can buy up to 10 or so coffee's a day.
We also support a free food cafe providing hot meals on a Monday and hopefully pay as you feel for the rest of the week. Again most of the food is donated but require funds to purchase certain foods and consumables etc
Our Ethos's is to be fully inclusive of everyone, show compassion and kindness to all, non judgemental, provide food/clothing and advice free for those who need it.
