Washington High School Weight room
Donation protected
Back in 2005-2008 when the high school went through renovation, the weight room received a new AC unit, paint, and a water fountain. Needless to say it’s time to update the old and overused equipment for the modern student athlete. Washington’s athletes strive to compete each school year in hopes of bringing home a conference, sectional, or even a state championship. Washington has produced collegiate and professional athletes, and we would like to continue helping our students and athletes by providing them the safest and best equipment we can. Please donate and help the students and student athletes of Washington High school.
With money tight in education, the money is tough to come by for extra curricular activities and sometimes those activities help keep students going to school every day.
Our plans are first to replace old equipment with new, unlike the last attempt when we replaced old equipment with used equipment. Next, we want to paint the facility;then, build a locked storage area for specific training equipment. We have a list of equipment we hope to purchase for the modern, competitive athlete.
If you are a former student, athlete, parent or even a future parent of a student or athlete, I am asking for your help in raising funds for the weight room. We would love to accomplish our goal by June 1, 2017. Your donation now will impact present and future students and student athletes of Washington Community Schools. We understand times are tough and money is tight, but we hope you can donate what you can.
