waseta's handicap landing and ramp

Waseta is 74 and is a Navy vetern, she has stage 4 COPD. She had to goto Williamsburg Sentara Hospital for COPD exacerbation, this was the third time she had been in the hospital this month for it, she spent a week each time in Sentara, shw was discharged on febuary 26, the picture is of the current stoop and steps, notice it does not have a ramp for a wheel chair access, after mom returned home she tried to climb the stairs.  She reached the landing of the stoop. She was so weak after the effort her legs callpased and she fell.  Because of her COPD, she is frequently prescribed predisone, a steroid.  One of the side effect of this medication is it makes the patient's skin very thin and delicate.  She is also on Eliquis,a blood thinner, designed to prevent blood clots (pace maker and abdominal aortic stint surguries in 2014 and 2015),  she tore her skin creating a gash on her left leg and a goose egg sized hematoma on her right leg, there was a lot of blood from these wounds.  New Kent EMS rushed out and took waseta back to Sentara Hospital where she was treated.  She was sent to Riverside Convelesent and Rehabalitain Center in West Point for physical rehab (to help get her strength back and for intial wound care).  Waseta's insurance only covers this stay for 20 days at 100% after that it drops to 80% and the rest is covered by tricare (military healthcare), Waseta cannot return to her home without a handicap ramp and landing, she could only aford to put the basic piers in for a new porch landing for the ramp, she has no more money and the bank will not loan it to her.  Any donation would be greatly appreciated by her.
