Hi Everyone! I’m knocking on everyone who has a big heart to help me out. Please help me raise a fund for my mom’s medical expenses, I couldn’t afford to go back to the Philippines right now since I just started working at my new job 2 weeks ago. Plus we’ve been struggling financially right now. I’m the only one supporting my family in the Philippines since my dad don’t have a job anymore. We didn’t expect this to happen. It hit us hard at the wrong place, at the wrong time. This is just the only thing I can think of to help them out.
Her name is Warlita Balmores, lives in the Philippines, a loving and dedicated wife to my dad and to myself and my siblings, was diagnosed with Heart and Lung Disease. She has an enlarged heart, developed CHF( Congestive Heart Failure) from pneumonia, pleural effusion(fluid in her lungs), edema, asthma and other medical issues. She was rushed to the ER. The hospital she stayed at 4 days ago had no equipments nor specialists for her condition. She’s not getting any better so they transferred her to another hospital with better service but much more expensive. She’s been on oxygen to help her breathe and in close observation.
Living in the Philippines with no help from government and/or no insurances to help you out when you need it, can be tough sometimes. It’s really not a thing having insurances there. It’s always have to come out in your pocket. There, whenever you get sick and have to go to the hospital, you’ll need to give a down payment before they can admit you . “No pay, No service.” As what mostly people say. You have to pay from ambulance service, nurse assistance, medications, every tests, hospital stay to doctor’s fee. If you couldn’t afford any of it, they’re not going help you. Sadly to say, but that’s the truth.
The doctor needs to drain the fluid built up in her lungs. They also have to run more tests to see what necessary procedure they need to do for her enlarged heart. Unfortunately, we can’t afford any of the tests she needs. So I (her daughter, lives in the US; not in the photo) decided to take chances and do a fundraising for her. We’ll be needing it as soon as possible. All the money that will be raised for her fund will goes to her medical expenses. Any amount will be very helpful and appreciated. I will update her story in case there are some changes in her condition. Thanks in advance and may God bless you all!
