In 2019 Warwickshire ACF cadets’ will embark on a life changing trip to South Africa to visit some orphanages, engage in the local culture and help build relations with the locals. They will also take part in a battle tour and will visit the site where soldiers lost their lives. We will also be raising money for Barnado's; the children's charity, The Warwick Museum and The Orphanages in Africa.
Our very own Major Tucker, the County Training Major for Warwickshire Army Cadet Force completed a massive challenge to raise money for the various charities. He toured the country on his 53 County Challenge, this seen him travel throughout the Country visiting 53 mainland Army Cadet Force Headquarters, collecting the County Flash for each, the county flash is worn as part of the uniform to identify the county that they are apart of. He done this solely by himself! You can still sponsor Major Tucker and support the charities listed above by donating here!
SPONSORED SNOWDON CLIMB!
The cadets that are going to South Africa headed to Wales to do a sponsored climb of Snowdon as part of the training before they visit South Africa in August to complete their community engagement project! Please do not forget that we are raising money for the fantastic charities!
