Hi! I'm Wanetah Walmsley, a professional actor, singer, dancer, and songwriter. I am raising money to fund my first single 'Summer Heat' and the production of my first music video!
As a dancer, I really want 'Summer Heat' to make you want to move and groove. Its a very sensual, sexy song and I want a couple of different mixes that allow the listener to experience it in a slower, sultry fashion, as well as a sassy summer anthem that gets your body moving.

I will be shooting in Shreveport, La. and am so thrilled to be working with Redbelt Studios. This awesome team consists of director Travis Champagne, cinematographer Jordan Bradley, and producer Tyler Corie.
Those of you who know me know that I would never do this video without my dancers and choreographers Courtney Young and Emma Busi!

Making films and videos is an amazing experience! It's also a very expensive one! The investment in this music video is not a monetary one for me. I will not make any money from the video. The investment is truly in the exposure it will bring me. As an artist, you can be the greatest talent in the world, but if no one knows you exist, then you'll never have a chance to create on the level we all dream to create.

Every collaborator on this project is a highly trained professional artist that use their craft and talent as their bread and butter and means of living. They are not hobbyists or weekend warriors. These are professionals that are each doing me a huge favor and stretching themselves and their busy schedules to help me make this project high quality and to do it right. Although I cannot pay them nearly what they are worth, with your help, I can at least pay them as much as possible.

Our shoot date is scheduled for August 3rd and 4th with post production  completed by August 12th the latest. Since the song is called 'Summer Heat' time is of the essence. lol

This project means so much to me because there truly is no other medium that I have dreamt of doing more than music videos. Why? Because besides musicals, no other art form allows me to do every facet of performing that I love; singing, acting, dancing, writing, storytelling.
