Walter and Giant

Walter Reich  70 yrs young is cycling 8000km across Canada for people whom have Parkinson's and their Caregivers. This ride is for them.
Walter and his wife Regula  recently retired from owning The Quiet Bay Log Motel & Café in Magnetawan Ontario. Originally from Switzerland. Canada has been home 24years.
As cycling enthusiast, Walter has always wanted to cycle across Canada.  The dream began at 10 a.m.  April 12th 2019 in Tofino BC on Mackenzie Beach, with Walter dipping his bike (GIANT) wheel in the Pacific Ocean.
Regula , Walter's wife is driving their RV. 
Walter  wants to be an advocate for those suffering with Parkinson's Disease. A disease not spoken about often and not understood, he wants to change that. He wants to hear peoples story that suffer with Parkinson's and Caregivers whom take care of their loved ones.

"I encourage people to tell me their journey with Parkinson's when I travel across the country.

UPDATE:
Cycled through British Columbia over many mountain passes. Into the prairies of Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba where it was extremely windy, unfortunately against me! We're almost all the way through Ontario. 
Celebrating Canada Day in our Capital Ottawa, which will be special and we're excited about that.
July 2nd we're heading to Quebec along the St. Lawrence River, then into New Brunswick, toward Nova Scotia and take a trip to PEI. Coming back from there  into north Nova Scotia. Then unto Newfoundland for the finish of our Walter and Giant adventure for Parkinson's October 4th in St. John's Newfoundland.
