Waldo County Woodshed Fundraiser

The Waldo County Woodshed is a 501 c(3) non-profit charity whose mission is to provide firewood to people in need in the Waldo County, Maine area.  Starting in November, the Woodshed opens to provide heating assistance in the form of 1/4 cords of wood to anyone who is in need.  We have five distribution centers across Waldo County with our sights set on enlarging that network.  We are a hard-working group of volunteers who are dedicated to making a positive impact on our community. 

We have a matching opportunity!!  The next $2500 raised will be matched, dollar for dollar, by a very generous group of supporters.  This is our Thanksgiving Fundraiser. $10.00 can help heat a home for a week.  $25.00 buys a 1/4 of a cord of wood for a neighbor in need.  $100.00 can help four families stay warm for almost a month!  Help keep your friends and neighbors warm this winter.  Donate to the Waldo County Woodshed.
