Hurricane Relief For Grand Bahama

Hi Everyone!
My name is Lashelle Farrington, a proud Bahamian living in S. Florida who's heart, like many other Bahamians living abroad in the United States, is home in the Bahamas wishing that there was some way that I could help my people through this difficult time.
As you know, on Thursday October 6th, Hurricane Matthew, ripped through the islands of The Bahamas leaving nothing but devistation behind. I have been personally working with many of my friends and family as well as other Bahamians here in the US to get relief items home to donate as well as to family members! So many of you have been contacting me via facebook or text message about contributing monetarily or by getting items to me.
So in this gofund me page, I will have several options available. No donation is too small, a case of 40ct water in BJ's is just $3.39, flashlights from Walmart are just $2.98, trust me, every little bit counts, and 100% of every donation will go towards making life a little easier for my people. Grand Bahama has suffered island wide, and the entire island is without power, so the people are living in darkness. A donation from you can help families get flash lights, food, water, clothing, toiletries, cleaning supplies... you name it! If you do not want to donate I will also set up links to a public Target, Walmart, and Amazon wish list where you can purchase the items directly and have them shipped directly to me or the drop off sites. This page over the next few days to come will provide a comprehensive list of what Bahamians need.
As of now here are some items that were listed the very next day after the hurricane had passed.
Generators
building materials & tools,
furnitures,
stoves,
refrigerators,
baby supplies, c
leaning supplies,
non perishable food items,
water are just some of the immediate items our people will need.
