Just a quick update everyone! Thank you all so much for the donations, The GoFundMe page cant be closed for a week so it will remain open to donations until next Thursday.

I will be speaking to the club this week to discuss the delivery of flowers and to discuss the charity of Mrs Advocaats choice. Unfortunatley for those asking about different charities to nominate, I personally cant make that decision as when people donated it was outlined that the two charities would be the foundation & also Mrs Advocaats choice, Im keeping it at that and it would be unfair to change.

Hopefully we will receive more donations over the coming 6 days and i will keep you all informed on how things are progressing.

Thanks again!

Tom.

Hi, this made my day yesterday seeing this. Up to now it's £1600......loyal fans us lot! But as we all know flowers do. It cost that much......yeah? My friend a local Sunderland girl is terminally ill at age 26 and wants to take her two young girls to Florida to make special memories. If everyone agreed and possibly split this applauding donation to Kayleigh Lynch and her family? Just a suggestion. Thanks

My Love for the English has doubled just because of this action from the fans of Sunderland football club, i have been to many countries but the British are such a nice people. Every way there are bad people but the English are such a loving people , irrespective of your colour. This action to the wife of the Manager is wonderful.

Hi Gareth and Sue. Sad to read about your friend but I don't know if you are familiar with The Willow Foundation? It is a charity set up by former Arsenal goalkeeper Bob Wilson, after he lost his daughter at a similar age. I don't think Willow can stretch to a Florida trip but it is there to, as you say, make special memories by sending seriously and terminally ill young adults on fun and memorable experiences. They are good people and I am sure your friend would benefit from speaking to them - https://www.willowfoundation.org.uk/

The Money as it is stated in Title after 150 pound goes to safc foundation 50% and a charity of Mrs A's choice . There is many charity's what need money however if a group charity is made like this the money needs to go OFFICIALY to the listed receivers above . This is due to the fact that if the money went any where else then these donations and charity events in the future would simply not take off on top of which if you make a donation page like this your legally obligated to do what you said in the beginning, it can also upset many people. @ Gareth and Sue That's terrible, maybe create a similar thing like this and you will receive donations , I hope your friend gets her dream holiday .

A big thanks to Mrs A and support for a couple of charities. Its little things like these that make the rest of the stress of supporting Sunderland worthwhile.
