$515 of $5,000 goal

Raised by 6 people in 22 days

In  2017 The Center for Collaborative Research received a generous donation of a 2000 Ford E 350 Van/Bus equipped with a wheelchair lift.  The Van was launched as our POW (Press/Paper on Wheels) vehicle. POW brings print and paper making to  schools, museums, community centers, libraries and other institutions to celebrate the joys of artmaking with people of all ages.

Funds raised through this campaign will help us cover operating and maintenance costs for the truck, as well as offering  our programs at reduced rates for those who want to experience and learn about print and papermaking.

In 2018 we have  worked with over 1500 individuals. Most of these people had never experienced print of paper making before.

Your donation will help us spread our love for for print and papermaking to people of all ages and places.

It's kind of like a before and after image. We started by stuffing as much stuff we could into a mini cooper, through the generosity of so many people we have been able to expand our capabilities. CCR can now do more! in 2018 we were offered 28 papermaking and or relief printmaking events in Wisconsin and Illinois. Thank you for your support and keeping our POW on the road

On Dec 1st we were invited to set up our POW (Press on Wheels) at the Civil War Museum in Kenosha WI to demonstrate relief printing and give away cards to visitors. We gave away over 100 cards and shared our love for printmaking with many more. We used an image of Santa created by Thomas Nast, c. 1863. for our card.
Your support enables us to continue our outreach and community efforts. Happy Holidays to everyone.
