Quire of Voyces 2016 Tour to Wales

Known for its “voluptuous tapestry of sound, vocal purity and radiant sonorities,” the Quire of Voyces is as committed as ever to its goal of performing and recording world-class, transcendent interpretations of a cappella works from the Renaissance and modern eras in spectacular historic settings.
The professional singer-musicians who make up the ensemble volunteer their time, passion, and skill to create the Quire’s acclaimed “crystalline” sound, which can be experienced each concert season at the splendidly resonant St. Anthony’s Chapel on the grounds of the Garden Street Academy in Santa Barbara.
To kick off the 2015-2016 Season and the Quire's 22nd year in Santa Barbara, they have had the great honor of being invited to perform in the annual Llangollen International Music Festival in Wales and are now raising funds to attend in July of 2016.
A little bit about the festival: Every summer since 1947 Llangollen has staged one of the world’s most inspirational cultural festivals. Each year around 4,000 performers and as many as 50,000 visitors converge on this beautiful small Welsh town and its International Pavilion; to sing and dance in a unique combination of competition, performance, and international peace and friendship.
The Quire is truly grateful for any contribution, big or small, and thanks the Santa Barbara community for their constant support throughout the years. This trip is the opportunity of a lifetime.
