In early 2016, we launched an Education Matters Grants program to award classroom teachers with grants for classroom supplies. We received an overwhelming 900 submissions describing the considerable need for supplies.
Tools for Schools is a program born of the great need expressed by those teachers. Our goal is to raise money and collect supplies to award to area schools with the greatest needs in the communities we serve.
All cash donations will be used to purchase supplies, which we will match with up to $10,000 in supplies!
In addition to donating cash, school supplies may be donated in every Schools Financial branch. For more information, visit schools.org/toolsforschools .
Schools Financial Credit Union was founded by a group of teachers in 1933, and has been supporting education ever since.
