WWPAW Thames Path Challenge
Donation protected
I am participating in the Thames Path Challenge in 2016, a 100km walk from Bishops Park in Fulham, London along the Thames to Mill Meadows in Henley. The challenge is expected to last approximately 25 - 30 hours of walking non-stop, day and night.
For people who know me, they will be aware that I am allergic to exercise, which makes this even more of a challenge for me and has already started as I start to train for this walk. However as I showed at the last fund rasising event for the project below, I don't shy away from a challenge - It's time for a real challenge this time!
The minimum ammount I need to raise in order to be able to take part in this challenge is £395 by 11th September 2016 (which is the second and final day of the challenge), whilst 50% of this needs to be raised by 1st August 2016. However I would like to aim for going above and beyond what I NEED to raise, and have as such set myself a personal target of £500. You will be able to follow me on this challenge on Facebook , as well as Twitter - whilst also being able to follow my progress in relation to key points along the route using the Thames Path Challenge website on the days of the event.
The money raised will be for WWPAW (Wingham Wildlife Park Animal Welfare - registered charity number 1162346), to help with their work in conservation and animal rehoming. Money raised through this challenge by myself will be used to help animal conservatio in the wild, and their work to give loving homes for life to animals which need them!
Please give generously if you want to see me be able to attempt this massive challenge - and I in return will endevour to do what I can to beat it, and put that money to good use - Helping animals who deserve our attention!
