Soldiers In Need

On January 30, 2018 While working at Camp Bowie we were notified that Loren's home and Mark's home, which is located directly adjacent to Loren's, had both caught fire. We rushed from work to the lot and found both homes ablaze. It was devastating for both Loren and Mark. Loren's insurance had just been cancelled on January 1 by his insurance company as he was in the process of building an addition onto the side. He was doing so to create a space for his family and to provide a place for one of his soldiers to stay.  He had allowed Mark Montoya, his Soldier, to place his mobile home on his lot.  Both support their families by working long hours and being away for extend periods of time to train Soldiers deploying. Mark's insurance will not cover everything that was inside the trailer but, as for Loren he lost everything in his house and most importantly all the unreplaceable items his daughters made for him.  We are seeking 40,000 for Loren and 10,000 for Mark to allow both to start over. We are a tight family at The PTAE program at Camp Bowie and will do everything in our power to keep them both taken care of as they have taken care of many of us when we were in need. They will however eventually need to rebuild their homes and reaquire some of their possessions even though a lot of family heirlooms are irreplacable. We are going with the absolute bottom amount for what we need as neither man is greedy or materialistic. Please donate whatever you can.
