So Perfect for Lynda Campbell
We all know and love our secret, little lunch spot in the corner of Cherry Creek. The warm, sweet aroma of Lynda's chocolate chip cookies extending out onto Fillmore Street, as well as her white chicken chili that you can count on to warm you up on cold, winter days is unfortunately coming to an end sooner than expected. Lynda must close her So Perfect doors on February 20th due to the Cherry Creek redevelopment project.
So Perfect Eats is the heart of Cherry Creek North. She shares her hard work and diligence in every aspect of life, including her family, friends, students, local businesses, and her marriage. Regrettably, not only is her heart breaking for the closing of her shop, but Lynda lost her husband, Colin Power, this last Monday, February 1, unexpectedly in his sleep. Colin was only 39 years old.
Lynda has made it her business to learn her customer's names, where they work, what they like to eat, and most importantly, make sure she is always going above and beyond for each and every person that steps into her shop. Her husband, Colin was a huge part of this business, as well. You may have been greeted with his unforgettable, Irish personality at the shop, or shared a beer with him at a local pub, but I can assure you, you could never forget the way Colin looked at Lynda. For the last 6 years, they have worked together, day and night, to make So Perfect Eats thrive. With the loss of her beloved husband and the closing of the shop, Lynda is going to need all of the help she can get.
We are putting together this campaign in order to raise funds for Colin's celebration of life at So Perfect on February 14, 2016, as well as raise funds for the potential reopening of our amazing So Perfect Eats in the future! We would be forever grateful for your support and encouragement as Lynda makes it through this transition. All donations will be accepted, including your time and support when we will be moving in 2 weeks. If there are any questions, please feel free to stop by the shop and grab a bite to eat!
