No One Fights Alone

My very dear and close friend Cheryl was diagnosed with Breast Cancer this past April. As some of you may or may not know, this is the second time after 27 years..

For those who know her,  Cheryl is an extraordinary person. I have never seen someone so unbelievably strong, so willing to fight again and still tries to find happiness all around her.

Cheryl has reached out to many programs in order to assist her with the burden of medical bills. While fighting to survive triple negative breast cancer and 14 rounds of chemo, she has had to go back to work to try to make ends meet. Short term disability unfortunately does not provide full pay and some of her medical bills are not covered. With that being said, the necessities of every day life are getting tighter and tighter.

I have always told myself that we never really know how hard others have it until we are able to walk in their shoes. For my dear friend, Cheryl I hope that we as a community are able to come together and make life a little easier on someone who does not have it so easy.
